Last year I was honored with the project of making someone a wedding dress. Henriette came to me asking if I could transform her mom's old 80's style gown into the dress of her dreams, a question I had the answer to right away - I said YES!
The whole process was just as joyful as the picture above. Don't get me wrong, it was pretty nerve wrecking. This dress was probably going to be the most important garment she would ever use, so yeah, there was as lot of pressure. But I think that's what made the whole experience so amazing too.
I couldn't have asked for a better bride to work with. You hear stories about bridezillas who never agrees with anything and make you want to tear your hair out. Henriette was the complete opposite of that. She had an idea of what she wanted, but gave me a lot of room to experiment and make some decisions on my own (designers really like that).
